CHASA is based on a confederate model and as such has affiliated members. For CHASA to conduct its operations effectively, these member associations contribute financially toward CHASA in the form of affiliation fees which are mainly based on the membership numbers of the individual associations. Affiliation fees are approved by the Board on a annual basis after the submission of a budget of expected income and expenses for a particular year. Quarterly financial statements are submitted to the Board to ensure proper oversight and transparency.

An Audit report is submitted to the Board for approval after the end of a financial year
